(1) |
एतायामोप गव्यन्त इन्द्रमस्माकं सु परमतिं वाव्र्धाति | अनाम्र्णः कुविदादस्य रायो गवां केतं परमावर्जते नः ||
etāyāmopa ghavyanta indramasmākaṃ su pramatiṃ vāvṛdhāti | anāmṛṇaḥ kuvidādasya rāyo ghavāṃ ketaṃ paramāvarjate naḥ ||
Come, fain for booty let us seek to Indra: yet more shall he increase his care that guides us. Will not the Indestructible endow us with perfect knowledge of this wealth, of cattle? |
來吧,渴望戰利品讓我們尋求 Indra:他將更多地增加對我們的關懷。堅不可摧的,不會讓我們對這種財富、牛群有完全的了解嗎? |

उपेदहं धनदामप्रतीतं जुष्टं न शयेनो वसतिम्पतामि | इन्द्रं नमस्यन्नुपमेभिरर्कैर्यः सतोत्र्भ्यो हव्यो अस्ति यामन ||
upedahaṃ dhanadāmapratītaṃ juṣṭaṃ na śyeno vasatimpatāmi | indraṃ namasyannupamebhirarkairyaḥ stotṛbhyo havyo asti yāman ||
I fly to him invisible Wealth-giver as flies the falcon to his cherished eyrie, With fairest hymns of praise adoring Indra, whom those who laud him must invoke in battle.

नि सर्वसेन इषुधीन्रसक्त समर्यो गा अजति यस्य वष्टि | चोष्कूयमाण इन्द्र भूरि वामं मा पणिर्भूरस्मदधि परव्र्द्ध ||
ni sarvasena iṣudhīnrasakta samaryo ghā ajati yasya vaṣṭi | coṣkūyamāṇa indra bhūri vāmaṃ mā paṇirbhūrasmadadhi pravṛddha ||
Mid all his host, he bindeth on the quiver: he driveth cattle from what foe he pleaseth: Gathering up great store of riches, Indra. be thou no trafficker with us, most mighty. |

vadhīrhi dasyuṃ dhaninaṃ ghanenanekaścarannupaśākebhirindra | dhanoradhi viṣuṇak te vyāyannayajvanaḥ sanakāḥ pretimīyuḥ ||
Thou slewest with thy bolt the wealthy Dasyu, alone, yet going with thy helpers, Indra! Far from the floor of heaven in all directions, the ancient riteless ones fled to destruction. |
你用你的閃電殺死了富有的①Dasyu(達修),獨自一人,卻與你的助手們一起去。因陀羅!遠離天堂的四面八方,古老的無禮者逃向毀滅。 |

परा चिच्छीर्षा वव्र्जुस्त इन्द्रायज्वानो यज्वभिः सपर्धमानाः | पर यद दिवो हरिव सथातरुग्र निरव्रतानधमोरोदस्योः ||
parā cicchīrṣā vavṛjusta indrāyajvāno yajvabhiḥ spardhamānāḥ | pra yad divo hariva sthātarughra niravratānadhamorodasyoḥ ||
Fighting with pious worshippers, the riteless turned and fled, Indra! with averted faces. When thou, fierce Lord of the Bay Steeds, the Stayer, blewest from earth and heaven and sky the godless. |

अयुयुत्सन्ननवद्यस्य सेनामयातयन्त कषितयो नवग्वाः | वर्षायुधो न वध्रयो निरष्टाः परवद्भिरिन्द्राच्चितयन्त आयन ||
ayuyutsannanavadyasya senāmayātayanta kṣitayo navaghvāḥ | vṛṣāyudho na vadhrayo niraṣṭāḥ pravadbhirindrāccitayanta āyan ||
They met in fight the army of the blameless: then the Navagvas put forth all their power. They, like emasculates with men contending, fled, conscious, by steep paths from Indra, scattered. |

tvametān rudato jakṣataścāyodhayo rajasa indra pāre | avādaho diva ā dasyumuccā pra sunvataḥ stuvataḥ śaṃsamāvaḥ ||
Whether they weep or laugh, thou hast o’erthrown them, O Indra, on the sky's extremest limit. The Dasyu thou hast burned from heaven, and welcomed the prayer of him who pours the juice and lauds thee. |
無論他們哭還是笑,你已將他們推倒,O Indra,在天空的盡頭。你從天上燃燒了大水,歡迎倒(蘇摩)汁讚美你的人的祈禱。 |

चक्राणासः परीणहं पर्थिव्या हिरण्येन मणिना शुम्भमानाः | न हिन्वानासस्तितिरुस्त इन्द्रं परि सपशो अदधात सूर्येण ||
cakrāṇāsaḥ parīṇahaṃ pṛthivyā hiraṇyena maṇinā śumbhamānāḥ | na hinvānāsastitirusta indraṃ pari spaśo adadhāt sūryeṇa ||
Adorned with their array of gold and jewels, they o’er the earth a covering veil extended. Although they hastened, they o’ercame not Indra: their spies he compassed with the Sun of morning. |

pari yadindra rodasī ubhe abubhojīrmahinā viśvataḥ sīm | amanyamānānabhi manyamānairnirbrahmabhiradhamo dasyumindra ||
As thou enjoyest heaven and earth, O Indra, on every side surrounded with thy greatness, So thou with priests hast blown away the Dasyu, and those who worship not with those who worship. |
正如你享受天堂和地球,O Indra,四面八方都被你的偉大所包圍,所以,你和祭司一起,把達蘇人和那些不敬拜的人都吹走了。 |

न ये दिवः पर्थिव्या अन्तमापुर्न मायाभिर्धनदां पर्यभूवन | युजं वज्रं वर्षभश्चक्र इन्द्रो निर्ज्योतिषा तमसो गा अदुक्षत ||
na ye divaḥ pṛthivyā antamāpurna māyābhirdhanadāṃ paryabhūvan | yujaṃ vajraṃ vṛṣabhaścakra indro nirjyotiṣā tamaso ghā adukṣat ||
They who pervaded earth's extremest limit subdued not with their charms the Wealth-bestower: Indra, the Bull, made his ally the thunder, and with its light milked cows from out the darkness. |
那些遍及地球最極端的人並沒有用他們的魅力征服財富賜予者:這公牛在從黑暗中擠牛奶。 |

अनु सवधामक्षरन्नापो अस्यावर्धत मध्य आ नाव्यानाम | सध्रीचीनेन मनसा तमिन्द्र ओजिष्ठेन हन्मनाहन्नभि दयून ||
anu svadhāmakṣarannāpo asyāvardhata madhya ā nāvyānām | sadhrīcīnena manasā tamindra ojiṣṭhena hanmanāhannabhi dyūn ||
The waters flowed according to their nature; he raid the navigable streams waxed mighty. Then Indra, with his spirit concentrated, smote him for ever with his strongest weapon. |
水流從其本性;他襲擊了通航的溪流。然後,因陀羅集中了他的精神,用他最強大的武器永遠打擊了他。 |

nyāvidhyadilībiśasya dṛlhā vi śṛṅghiṇamabhinacchuṣṇamindraḥ | yāvat taro maghavan yāvadojo vajreṇa śatrumavadhīḥ pṛtanyum ||
Indra broke through Ilībiśa's strong castles, and Śuṣṇa with his horn he cut to pieces: Thou, Maghavan, for all his might and swiftness, slewest thy fighting foeman with thy thunder |

abhi sidhmo ajighādasya śatrūn vi tighmena vṛṣabheṇa puro.abhet | saṃ vajreṇāsṛjad vṛtramindraḥ pra svāṃ matimatiracchāśadānaḥ ||
Fierce on his enemies fell Indra's weapon: with. his sharp bull he rent their forts in pieces. He with his thunderbolt dealt blows on Vṛtra; and conquered, executing all his purpose. |

āvaḥ kutsam indra yasmi cākan prāvo yudhyantaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ daśadyum | śaphacyuto reṇur nakṣata dyām uc chvaitreyo nṛṣāhyāya tasthau ||
Indra, thou helpest Kutsa whom thou lovedst, and guardedst brave Daśadyu when he battled, The dust of trampling horses rose to heaven, and Śvitrā's son stood up again for conquest. |

āvaḥ śamaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ tughryāsu kṣetrajeṣe maghavañchvitryaṃ ghām | jyok cid atra tasthivāṃso akrañchatrūyatām adharā vedanākaḥ ||
Śvitrā's mild steer, O Maghavan thou helpest in combat for the land, mid Tugra's houses. Long stood they there before the task was ended: thou wast the master of the foemen's treasure. |
Śvitrā溫和的小牛,哦Maghavan,你幫助了Tugra(圖格拉–Bhujyu 父親的名字(被 Aśvins 拯救);也被解釋成是因陀羅的敵人)房屋中部土地的戰鬥。在任務結束之前,他們在那里站了很久:你是敵人寶藏的主人。

- Dasyu:
